But outside of such Hollywood Illuminati as Paris Hilton (who is famous for being famous, which could be the topic of a whole other post) most people feel some guilt for acquiring more and more stuff, especially when they take a look at the rest of the world and see how little people in other countries have. So I’ve come up with a semi-regular feature for my, and hopefully your, amusement. I will take random fictional characters and do an analysis of their political leanings to determine which Canadian political party they secretly support. Last week, Scott and I had the pleasure of attending the annual Christman Bureau Campaign Launch at the Winspear Centre (huge thanks to Liam for inviting us). It’s an event in two parts: media outlets compete against each other to build gingerbread houses with supplied material; we’re then judged by Christmas Bureau designates on all things from creativity, to spirit, to shameless self-promotion.
