The Unknown Studio

I don’t think it’s a secret that Scott and I are fans of Global Edmonton 6 0′clock news co-anchor Lynda Steele. She’s a pillar of the community, a big Edmonton booster, and an all-around great woman. So we decided to invite her onto the show to get her perspective on living and working in Edmonton in a rather public role.

And wouldn’t you know it, but Lynda is extremely down-to-earth and fun. Scott and I spent just over an hour chatting with her about how she got into her job as a news anchor, how news has changed, and what it’s like to be a news personality who gets noticed out in public. I even reveal details about the first time I met Lynda — intoxicated at a hockey game, and probably a little overly friendly.
