We’ve all experienced those embarrassing moments. You know, something happens to you in front of a group of people and you experience a deep sense of mortification. This sense is immediately followed by instantaneous flashes in your brain of, “Why me?” and “If there was a sufficiently large rock I could crawl under right now, I would.”
This is often followed immediately by a sense of indignation, where you think, “This is ridiculous. I did nothing to deserve this,” and you curse the fate.
Of course, this all happens within seconds, before anyone even has the chance to laugh at your outrageous misfortune.
And, dear readers, these are precisely the stories we want to hear. Because they will enable you to win fabulous prizes.
In order to launch the Unknown Studio’s Gift of Gab Listener Line™, we’re presenting the “Most Embarrassing Contest.”
Before I tell you about our excellent prizes, here’s how the contest works:
Tell us your embarrassing story by leaving us a voicemail on our Gift of Gab line at 1-509-252-0185. Try and keep it brief, as long distance charges do apply (we got ourselves a fancy phone number from Washington state). Make sure to tell us your name and a way we can contact you. If we deem your story worthy, we’ll not only play it on an episode of the Unknown Studio airing in March, but we’ll also give you one of these three prizes…
- Grand prize: an iPod Touch, courtesy of the design wizards at Guru Digital Arts College.
- Second prize: an Edmonton Journal Jacket and Toque AND two tickets to a Citadel show from those ink-stained wretched at the Edmonton Journal.
- Third Prize: a $100 sexytime gift card from those wonderful people at the Traveling Tickle Trunk.
The contest closes February 19th at 4pm MST, The contest actually closes on March 31 at 11:59pm MST, so make sure to make that call to win something awesome from our sponsors.
We’re waiting to hear your story!
