I’ve made a living out of social media for the last five years. It started in true serendipitous fashion: a chance meeting with a fellow many in Edmonton might know as Wanye Gretz back in 2007. Wanye had an idea for creating an Oilers fan website — which many of you will know as OilersNation.com — but lacked the editorial chops to manage content. After a few conversations, we went into business together and wound up creating a network of website for hockey fans. It’s one of my proudest achievements.
